The Principality of the Summits consists of most of the modern state of Oregon.

Note
- The mountain and grail symbolize Crater Lake and Mount Mazama. Crater Lake is a beautiful lake in the caldera of the mountain. The whole area is a National Park. So as it says in our ceremonies: "The mountain holds the grail up to the sky."

History
The name Crown Principality of the Summits was registered by Laurel Sovereign of Arms in November 1992. This name was updated to Principality of the Summits in March 1999.
The first Coronet tournament was held on March 31, 1996. Victorious was Lawrence of the Marsh, by the inspiration of Miriam de Xaintrailles. The first prince and princess reigned until December 14, 1996.

Awards and Tokens
Ordo Aerie (formerly The Order of the Aerie)
This is a closed order consisting of all those who held the position of Defender or Lady of the Summits prior to the recognition of Summits as a Principality. Members may wear a black garter with a grail tippet.
Order of the Gryphon and Spear (formerly The Order of the Gryphon's Sword)
Consists of those combatants who have placed second in the Coronet lists. Members may wear an argent sword bent into a ring.
Order of Truehearted (formerly Morgan's Rose)
Given to the consorts of those combatants who have placed second in the Coronet List. Recipients may wear an argent rose wrapped around a spear.
Order of the Shield of the Summits
This Order consists of all those who have been awarded the Shield of Chivalry. This Shield is given by the Princess to that combatant whom she judges to have been most chivalrous during the Coronet Lists. It is passed on at each Coronet Lists.
Order of the Summits
This award is given no more than once per Coronet reign and need not be given every reign. It recognizes extraordinary contribution to the Principality and Populace of Summits. Companions in this Order must be consulted by the Coronet for advice before invitation is offered to a new Companion.
Order of the Silver Berberie (formerly The Evergreen)
Given as a token of appreciation and honor by the Consort to select gentles deemed worthy. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the order, an argent spray of barberry.
The Gryphon's Paw
Given as a token of appreciation and honor by the Coronet Sovereign to select gentles deemed worthy. Currently this token is designed by each Coronet Sovereign.
Order of the Grail of the Summits
This award may be given by the Coronets for notable contributions in the Arts and Sciences, Service, or Martial endeavor. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, an argent grail within an annulet on a colored field (vert for Arts and Science, gules for Service, sable for Martial). Due to the varied nature of the award, a recipient may receive more than one of the same or different types.
Throne Favor of the Summits
Given to those within and without the Principality who make notable contributions to the Principality or the Coronet. The token for this award is determined by each Coronet.
Friend of the Summits (formerly Gryphon's Favor)
Given to those outside the Summits who make great contributions in support of the Principality. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the award, an argent grail on an azure field.
Order of the Gryphon's Talon
Bestowed upon combatants to recognize their extreme fighting prowess and undeterred ferocity on the field of battle.
Created during the reign of Brogan and Johanna,
Order of the Wounded Gryphon
Given for exceptional conduct and prowess upon the field of battle. Members may wear a gryphon sejant pierced in the breast by an arrow bendwise sinister argent, fletched azure.
Order of the Astrolabe of Saint Brendan (formerly Order of the Far Voyager)
Created during the reign of William Geoffrey II and Nadezhda I, 21 June AS XXXVIII – 13 Dec AS XXXVIII
Given to recognize those Principality subjects who travel far and wide in the lands of the Society and represent the Summits with honor.
Order of the Bezant
Created during the reign of Gabriel and Avin, 9 Dec AS XLI – 16 Jun AS XLII
Given to recognize those merchants who make outstanding contributions to the Principality or the Coronet. The token for this award is (Fieldless) On a chalice azure five bezants in annulo.
Gesellschaft von den Guldenen Sternen (translates to The Order of the Golden Stars, formerly Aurum Astra)
Created during the reign of Berek II and Liesel II, 18 June AS XL – 10 Dec AS XL
Given to children (5-11 years of age as a guideline) who are deserving of reward for their contributions to the Principality.
Order of the Wings of the Summits
Created during the reign of Brian and Acacia, Dec AS XLIII - June AS XLIV
Accolade bestowed upon an individual who, despite overwhelming odds, pursues and displays thoughts, words and deeds that are inspirational to the Coronet and Populace of the Principality of the Summits. This is a Polling Order and given with the concurrence of the Coronet. The Accolade may be given once per reign.
Order of the Joy of the Summits
Created during the reign of Rustam and Sofia II, Dec AS XLIV - June AS XLV
Bestowed upon those who, through self-less acts of kindness and service bring joy and happiness to the presence of the Coronet. Recipients may wear a circlet as created for them by each Coronet.
Order of the Heart of the Summits
Offered by the Coronet to those who display outstanding efforts in support of the Coronet during their reign. Recipients may wear a circlet as created for them by each Coronet.
Order of the Bengalguard
Created during the reign of Aaron and Telisia, June AS XLVII - Dec AS XLVII
Bestowed to recognize those who care deeply for and work to safeguard animals.
Award of the Silver Sleeve
Created during the reign of Luciano and Elizabeth, Dec AS XLVII - June AS XLVIII
This award is given by the Coronet of the Summits at Their pleasure to those gentles who inspire their fighter to reach greater heights.
Order of the Belated Barberry
Bestowed by the Ladies of the Valorous Estate to gentles who exhibit exemplary courtesy at all times. Members are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, a bayberry spray within an argent heart on an azure field.
Order of the Guardian of the Stouthearted (White Hard)
Bestowed by the Princess to combatants who exhibit exemplary chivalry on the field of combat. Members are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, an argent sword on a gules heart on an argent field.
Order of the Silver Crucible
