Welcome to the Shire of Danescombe, a shire in the Principality of Tir Righ, Kingdom of An Tir, nestled in the Central Okanagan of BC. A land of lakes and desert. A land of beauty and harsh seasons. A land of extremes. Before becoming Danescombe, this land was previously held by Appledore to the south, and is bordered by Krakafjord to the north.
Danescombe Events
Danescombe holds weekly practice where A&S, scribal and fighting activities bring our populace together in one space, see Danescombe Fight Practice for details.
Occasional Superpractices throughout the year happen where we have a space for the day open for all aspects of the SCA to come and learn, practice, and keep good company.

- Tournament of Roses - The champion deciding event with a focus on inspirations in late winter/early spring
- Danescombe Academy - An event full of classes for every aspect of the SCA
- Machiavelli - An event of intrigue, treachery, and assassination as a new Doge is selected by the populous
- Newcomers Event - An event for the introduction of new folks to the SCA and customs within it
