The Shire of Danescombe's Tournament of Roses is the annual shire event to determine the new defenders. At this event those competing honour their inspirations. Danescombe's previous defenders of rapier, heavy, cut&thrust, A&S and bardic decide the competition or tournament to choose the new defender of the coming year.
