Clan Sinclair is a household of chosen family and friends where folks can be themselves, explore their interests and find support on their chosen paths.
History
Clan Sinclair (often referred to as The Clan by members) was founded by Murdoch Sinclair in 2019 when he started taking on students. Its origins are in Danescombe within the Principality of Tir Righ in An Tir with members now far beyond, and gained household status in September of 2022.
The clan is a majority of rapier and C&T fighters, and a spattering of archery and thrown weapons, A&S, bardic, heraldry and scribal talents amongst them. Service on all levels is encouraged within the Clan.
The Clan's motto is Fàs leis an ealain which is Scots Gaelic for "Growth through art" and encompasses the many forms of arts within the SCA.
