Hrothgar Thorvaldsson

Sir Hrothgar started out his SCA career as Thomas Gunn of the Gunn clan in Springfield Missouri in 1985, after having seen a fighting demo at a local park. It stuck and after more than 25 years in the sca he still enjoys membership. He travelled back and forth between Calontir and Antir until finally meeting his wife HL Åse Knarrarbringa at a day of dance in 1995. They were married later that year. This was also the year that he made the switch to being a viking. It was a good year.

Hrothgar was squired to Sir Thorvald Hwolfson before his elevation to the Order of Chivalry on June 14th AS 38/2003 by the hand of King Davin and Queen Groa.

Sir Hrothgar was the first Knight of Tir Righ.

Sir Hrothgar has three squires: Adwen Wrenn, Sean O'Conner, and Thorkell Haraldsson

Hrothgar has two children, Katherine and Elizabeth, and resides with his family in the shire of Shittimwoode.
