Argent, three monkeys passant sable. |
(a.k.a Mael Iso mac Neill) (aka Lord Gracious Braies)
Persona Biography (such as it is)
Malys was born in Baile Dubhthaich (Tain), Ross-shire, Anno Domini 1287, youngest of three brothers. He was educated at nearby Fearn Abbey as a boy, and as a young man served William Earl of Ross at Balnagowan. He and his eldest brother both fought at Bannockburn in 1314 under Sir Walter, the Earl's son, but his brother died there leaving no heir. The second brother had taken orders - so it fell to Malys to take over the estate. He enjoys riding down to Balnagowan to see the friends he made there and play the odd game of hurling. In winter he amuses himself by writing very bad poetry.
Malys is known for being good at everything, and for being more fun than a blazon of monkeys.**
