The Barony of Glymm Mere (Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey, WA) is located in the central region of An Tir.
History
Proceeded by the Shire of Silvae Magnae in Olympia, first mentioned in the Jan 1974 Crier. The last mention was in the Mar 1976 Crier.
Founded in 1981 as "A group in formation" (Oct 1981 Crier), until it decided on the name the Shire of Everclear (April 1982 Crier), the first Seneschale was Angharad (later Duchess Angharad).
The first event was Mayfaire. Shortly after Yule Feast was added as the major winter event.
In the late 1980s the name was changed to Glymm Mere.
In 1993 the Shire of Glymm Mere became a Barony at Twelfth Night.
The Founding Baron and Baroness were Richard Fergus Fitzalan and Gwendolyn Fitzalan.
February 4, AS 29/1995 David and Sancia of Glymm Mere became the 2nd Co-Regnants as Baron and Baroness.
