Live Stream Work:

During the pandemic times, An Tir experimented with Virtual Courts. These were met with mixed results due to limitations of Zoom and other streaming services. But a need was recognized where technology could be utilized to benefit those of our Society who could not as easily attend Court when everything returned to normal. Thus the An Tir Live Stream crew was formed. It began as an idea for 12th Night 2022, when Gera Gangolffin came up with the idea to present this first Court after the Return to those in the Kingdom who did not, or could not attend safely in person. She contacted me as a "fairly technical" person to assist with making it happen. After much wrangling of computers, cables, cameras, microphones, and a little help from the hotel network staff, it was a success. Since then the An Tir Live Stream Team has moved on to become an actual Office within the Kigdom, has purchased lots of equipment for sharing, and trained numerous new people to assist with cameras, communications, and production. The team has streamed virtually every event that TRM/TRH have attended. Those events where it is not feasible (or technically possible) to stream, I stepped in with my own recording equipment to record the event, then go home and edit it for upload to YouTube afterwards. I have done this for a couple early Kingdom events, as well as a number of local Branch events where the Live Stream crew were not available. I have been involved with Live Stream events as front row camera operator, setup and monitoring of Throne Camera (no longer used), on-site coordinator for the Live Stream crew, setup and configuration of Starlink sattelite internet systems, providing remote power supp0ly options, and recording and uploading of video. Usually doing one or more of these things at every event.
