Jacob Faulkbourne is the eldest son of Mistress Ariel de Courteney and Sir Martin le Harpur of Faulkbourne. Jacob has been a member of the SCA since his birth in the year 1997.

In the Bardic Championship of 2011, Jacob accompanied his father on the cello as the second of Martin's two championship entries. The pair was awarded second place.

Since then, Jacob's intrest in the arts has multiplied. In the year 2014, he became the vassal of Maestro Eduardo Francesco Maria Lucrezia, and under his tutelage hopes to learn the craft of costuming, to extend his bardic abilities, and to learn the arts and sciences of the realm with hopes of entering competitively in A&S championships in the near future.

Jacob has preformed with various ensembles at the elevation of Mistress Sabine d'Angers at May Crown 2010, and the elevation of Mistress Raffaella di Contino at September Crown 2013, and that of Elizabeth Blackdane at Twelfth Night 2015. He has performed with the An Tir Players under the direction of Chiara Fiamma in the roles of Malvolio and the Friar in their production of Twelfth Night at Twelfth Night, as well as the role of Flute/Thisbe in their production of Midsummer Nights Dream. Jacob's participation in these musical and theatrical groups earned him his Award of Arms at Twelfth Night 2015.
