Persona Background
Freydis is a Norwegian Lady born in 979. She was married in 1015 to a Norse merchant; they left Norway to move to Byzantium to set up a shop and live with her brother, a member of the Varangian guard. Her husband did not survive the journey, unfortunately, dying of illness along the way.
She now lives with her brother and Greek sister in law, in a back room and makes her way by liaising between the Norse and the silk road traders, and hiring out her brother’s friends as caravan guards. When in a secluded grove she works on her own sword skills. Perhaps this is why she is 'Mannaskelfir', which translates to the Terror of Men.

I'm interested in weaveing, fabric paint, sewing, thrown weapons, archery, perpetually getting started into heavy fighting, merchant, fruit preserving, sugar art. All the crafts!
