Branimir of Clan Carn

Branimir broz, m.k.a. Steven Puhich, was a heavy fighter and member of Clan Carn.

He had a Norse personae, and one of the many ways he made his mark in the SCA was his inventive sleeping arrangements, most often seen at Autumn War. He had a (by appearance) stone sided cottage, complete with moss and vines. He also had the front half of a Viking long-ship that he slept in, which included (formerly burning) arrows protruding from the prow.

He was well known in the Clan for his welcoming demeanor, his desire to barbecue most types of meat, his love of chess, and always being willing to lend a hand. Also, despite his love of grilled meat, he always recommended salad, because "…it makes you go!"

Branimir passed over the rainbow bridge on July 10th, 2011 on his way home from a Carn fight practice. We miss him.

A tassel was added during the Riderless Horse Ceremony in his name at September Crown Tournament XLVI/2011.
