Azemar de Toulouse
Azemar is, originally from the Barony of Lions Gate in Tir Righ.
In 2005, Tristan was taken by close friends to the Clinton War. And, after many stressful hours of failing to sew, and several more hours of driving Sebastian and Tristan arrived on sight. Tristan had a poorly put together tank top that was his first piece of garb, and tan mundane pants. He had travelled with his best friend, and made many new ones throughout that week and weekend, and saw one of them, Christian Bane, become a squire on the war field. This was his first event, first time in armour, and first real exposure to a dream and goal that burned itself onto his heart. Needless to say, the memories of this event left many lasting impacts on him.
Tristan would become Athelstan, an Anglo-Saxon, then eventaully become Azemar
Azemar is from 12th century France, and fights predominantly sword and shield, however he enjoys many other forms of combat. Unfortunately he often indulges too much in verbal sparing.
On May 3, AS 43, he became Baroness Caitrin ni Cingeadh's Champion of Combat.
At Tir Righ Winter Investiture, November 22nd, AS 43, Azemar received his Award of Arms from Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, shortly before their Highnesses stepped down.
Azemar was squired to Duke Sir Savaric de Porte des Lions during the introductions in the squire's tournament at An Tir's May Crown, AS 44. Sir Savaric stepped forward and announced that it was his right as a knight of the realm to take squires, and there Azemar swore an oath of fealty to the viscount.
On February 20, AS 44, Azemar was honoured with a Prince's favour from the hand of Ulfgar Hjartar Bani Thorvaldsson.
In autumn of 2013 he followed his heart's truest calling and relocated to the Shire of Hartwood. Eventually Azemar helped to reestablish the Nanaimo Fight Practice (https://www.facebook.com/groups/190696390984471/) and in 2015 was both the shire's Champion of Heavy Combat, and Master of Stables. Azemar has since been entered into the Order of the Hafoc, given to him by Their Highnesses Vikingr and Lishinia, an honour which (like all honours he's received before) he still endeavours to deserve.
Azemar was also very generously given the Stag Tag #30 (XXX) from the Shire of Hartwood. Fighting with the Stag Party, at Sealion War brought back memories of that first Clinton War, but with a different measure of success on the field.
Azemar lives in Port Alberni (Hartwood) with his wife, two children, and probably the best dog of all time. Also a pig. But, his tale does not end here.
For Azemar, the dream never dies, the goal never fades. As long as the winds of motivation blew onto the coals on the heart, the fire stays lit and the burning heart moves forward.
