Event Highlights
This was the first year of the format change to "War of the Princes"
On Saturday evening, Sir Daniel hosted an honor dinner to discuss the knightly virtues. The number of people in attendance was stated by Daniel to be at least five times as many as had ever been in attendance before. A potluck feast ensued, with dishes contributed by each household, and featuring a whole roast lamb offered by Earl Edward Ian Anderson.
Following the dinner, the Order of the White Lions of An Tir hosted a party in celebration of their goal of winning three consecutive An Tir/West Wars. According to Earl Edward, the true measure was whether we won by using superior tactics and war training, and in his estimation, we have done so.

Personal Memories
I am pleased and proud to point out that members of the War Band Havoc and the Merchant House Iron Ring won both the Iron Needle and the Siege Cooking competitions. Havoc was, also, responsible for the Summits receiving all of the Rapier War points. This being the first of, hopefully, many wars of Princes, I don't think I'll ever forget being called into court to explain to His Highness of Tir Righ how he lost those points. Although He took it very well, being Norse, and all. Eoghan ÓBriain
