Álvar Guerrero

New to the SCA, Álvar Guerrero, mundanely known as Tony Hernandez officially joined along with his wife Liadan and 10 month old daughter several hours after his first fighters practice within the College of Lyonsmarche on January 17th, 2010.

Currently in the process of getting his armor and garb ready for Honor War A.S. XLIV/2010.

Persona

I am working on a Spanish Rodellero in Europe around the 1500-1530's. An integral part of Spanish Tercios formations, these sword-and-buckler men proved quite useful in several major battles against disorganized pike formations.

Tracking my own mundane heritage to Spain has had a great influence on my choice.
