Sunday, August 25th College of Lyonsmarche - Fighters Practice, Sewing and Newcomer Classes

- Where = Schierman's Clubhouse and Event Center, 3225 Robinson Park Road Moscow, Idaho

- Fighting Activities will be held outdoors
- Inside the Schierman's building = We will setup for sewing with several sewing machines and surger. We will have a Medieval Garb making class. Hopefully we can send everyone away with a pattern made out of old newspapers. Please post on Facebook if you are bringing fabric and what you would like to try to get sewn this afternoon. We will also have an informal What is the SCA and Introduction to the SCA discussion.
- Snacks and Beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring something too.

- The monthly College of Lyonsmarche Council Meeting date will be determined soon. Meeting date/time/location will be posted on our Lyonsmarche Facebook page. Please contact the Seneschal for meeting location.
- A&S and Fighter Practice
- The College of Lyonsmarche A&S and Fighter Practices.
During the warmer seasons, we typically hold practices outdoors at either Ghormley Park, 504 Home Street, Moscow, ID. from 5pm - Dark or at East City Park in Moscow ID. A new day for Fall 2013 will be determined soon, please check out our Facebook page. Day/Time of Fighter Practice is subject to change depending on members schedules. We have tried finding places on the WSU campus, the the parking has always been a problem for non-students. If you do not have a car and want to attend, please post on Facebook and we will figure out someone to give you a ride.
During the cold winter months our Fighter's Practices are typically every Sunday Afternoon from 1:00-3:00 at the HIRC (Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center) at 1724 F. Street, Moscow ID. If you're not a fighter, bring your A&S projects to work on with us or just come and socialize.
Our Lyonsmarche Facebook page is an excellent place to let our members know if you need a ride. Let us know if you are interested in heavy fighting, rapier, building armor, sewing garb, talking about persona development, cooking, camping at SCA spring/summer/fall events or any other aspects of the SCA. Please contact the Arts & Sciences Minister or Master of Stables for more information.

- Fighting Activities = 1:30pm Rapier Armor Inspection. Senor Alvar said the Lyonsmarche Rapier Tournament will soon follow.
- Heavy Armored Combat = will be held after Rapier or by about 2:30pm.
- Other Activities = Board Games, Bardic since it is hard to keep Phelan from singing, Tova plans to be embroidering. Bring your craft projects for an A&S circle.
- Evening Feast = Potluck. Tova will be providing 2 stews and bread.
