Emelyn Fulredy
Emelyn de Munemuth is the newly-minted deputy to Ji'lid Hazel Leaf.
She lives in Terra Pomaria with her awesome husband, Gregory de Munemuth, and two young sons. After spotting an Ithra gathering, Emelyn dove headfirst into heraldry and was pretty much never heard from again. Gregory has been an exceptionally good sport about it all. They came to their first ceilidh in October 2012.
Emelyn has a severe case of eureka syndrome. Her primary interest obsession is heraldry, especially armorial design and research. This is followed closely by singing period songs (especially ballads) and drawing period images (especially drolleries). Her tertiary interests are...well, 95% of the other arts and sciences. She also plays a lot of backgammon.
Gregory (who is active, but less involved than Emelyn, and whose page is therefore redirecting here for now) plays and studies chess and is interested in getting better at archery. Daniel, the elder son, likes brandishing toy swords at people. Noah, the younger one, likes trying to put them in his mouth.
Personae and Heraldry
In persona, Emelyn and Gregory are playing as Lincolnshire folk of exactly 700 years ago, which makes this 1313 for them. Emelyn has ambitions of eventually patterning her garb and other accoutrements around the depictions in the Luttrell Psalter (commissioned 1320s-40s).
Emelyn's device-in-submission (replacing the one she sent in a month after her first event) is: "Purpure, two bendlets Or." Gregory's is "Vert, a key cross argent." Organized cadency systems post-date their personae, so for Daniel, they use Gregory's arms with a label of three points Or, and for Noah a label of four points. This will last until they get old enough to either design their own devices or say "Mom, you're embarrassing me."
