Proposed badge for Insula Magna

Insula Magna, the Great Isle of An Tir.

Insula Magna is how Vancouver Island is often referred to within An Tir. There are at present, six branches on the Great Isle:

  • The Shire of Cragmere - Courtenay - Comox - Campbell River
  • The Shire of Hartwood - Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach
  • The incipient Shire of Ravensley - Port Alberni & area
  • The Barony of Seagirt - Victoria & area

There is an Insula Magna Campus in the University of Ithra.

Notes:

Insula Magna is not a branch - it can't be, since only Principalities and Kingdoms can be made up of a group of branches, hence it has no official existence. At the moment the name Insula Magna and associated armoury are in the process of registration as a household name, for the use of all who live on the Great isle of An Tir.
