House Blue Dog began in the near reaches of history, in the once great Shire of Cragmere. The principals were Kjartan kráka and Doireann Dechti with their Norse influence of hospitality and generosity, and Halima al-Rakkasa with the Arabic influence of hospitality and education. The household tenets became: hospitality, teaching, and merchanting. The Talbot, a dog, was chosen for it's friendly demeanor, and helpfulness to all those with kind hearts. Blue because... heraldry! The badge is held jointly by Kjartan kráka and Doireann Dechti.
