Muirgheal was born and lived in the late 16th century in the Scottish Highlands and was a member of the MacMartins or Camerons of Letterfinlay family. Currently she resides at the College of Saint Bunstable in the Barony of Madrone and serves as both the College's and Barony's chatelaine.

Lady Muirgheal enjoys cooking with the Madrone Culinary Guild, researching all aspects of later period Scottish life (primarily food and clothing), making late period costumes, and embroidery.
