SCA History
Started playing in 1982 in Madrone. Got serious about participation Fall 2004. House Madubi from around 1997 to 2005. Joined House Redstone Oct2006. Became Sergeantry Candidate (Yeoman) of Aquaterra in January 2008. I expect that I will be ready to pass Sergeantry Trials in Sep2009.
My goal here beyond keeping the organization running, is to learn enough that I can do all the things that a well to do Norseman would do when living on a farm on the North Atlantic in the late 800's.

Countess Octavia Laodice Hybrida Africanus was kind enough to hold court at the Aquaterra Ithra on the 5th of April 2008. With Baroness Rosamund and Baron Hauk looking on, Chancellor Hélène de Navarre gave out many Lectors and a couple Magistraes.
Took wood carving class at Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard (in Seattle) in 2007.
The plan is to take a boat building class at the Center for Wooden Boats on Lake Union, and build a Faering with a small sail.
