Started participating in the SCA in 1982 in Madrone. Got serious about participation Fall 2004.
House Madubi from around 1997 to 2005. Joined House Redstone Oct2006.
Audited Sergeantry classes in Aquaterra during 2008.
Held Baronial lesser offices May 2007 - Mar 2011.
Kingdom Gamesmaster Mar 2011 - 2012
AOA from King Vik and Queen Inga Ursulmas 2009.
My goal here beyond giving back to our Society, is to learn enough that I can do all the things that a well to do Norse nobleman would do when living on an estate in the Orkneys in the early 900's.
Persona Biography
Born on a farm outside Trondheim (853 Gregorian). Fostered by Jarl Rognvald Eysteinson of More.
At 21 winters, moved to the Orkneys serving Sigurd Eysteinsson, Jarl of Konungr Harald Hårfagre of Norway. Took up an estate on the Mainland North of Stromness.
On my estate we raise cattle and sheep. We also farm, and fish in the Atlantic. Good places to trade are in Dublin longphort, Jorvik, Oslo, and Manx. With ties to Norway and Orkney, Scotland and England so close, and Ireland a short voyage away, disputes must be watched for.
The Christians now number this year 900, AnTir as A.S. XLV. It is the 7th year of Turf-Einar Rognvaldsson's rule in Orkney and 25th year of Konungr Harald's rule.

Learned a lot - Highly recommended for those who want intensive learning.
Far Future
- The plan is to take a boat building class at the Center for Wooden Boats on Lake Union, and build a Faering (4 oar Nordic boat) with a small sail.
- I may one day take language classes either in Icelandic or Norwegian.

- Building armor out in 2015 to join the current House Redstone War Band. Will need to get authorized and a card again.
