Ashley Longbow, 2009.

Elizabeth Ashley Longbow of Newcastle, known as Ashley, is an Eleventh Century Norman who spends her time managing the family castle among other things.

Ashley's first event was the An Tir/ West War in 1985, with two children ages 11 months and 2 1/2 years. When asked about raising children in the S.C.A., she remarks "it is a valuable learning experience, for both child and adult. Where else can your children learn a living history lesson while spending valuable time together as a family?"

Ashley was made a Court Baroness at Baron's Ball, October 1997, she and Rolf Longbow are the founding Baron and Baroness of Vulcanfeldt; and by the hands of TRM Cedric and Elizabeth was elevated to the Order of the Pelican at July Coronation XLIII/2008 held in the Barony of Wastekeep
