Once again Their Highnesses brought forth those gentles for whom this was their first event. Understanding without the new members who come to the SCA, the SCA would not continue to grow and thrive. Whatever aspect of the SCA caught the newcomer’s eye, their attendance should be acknowledged. Sea shells from the shores of Tir Righ were presented by the Storm Prince and Princess as a token of appreciation for attendance, and in the hope of their continued support of the SCA. | |||

Christina, a very young girl at her first event, was exemplary in showing us all how a proper curtsey should be done for Royalty, setting the example for others. Her mother Nievis, accepted the token on her behalf. | |||
Tracey of Cragmere, also at her first event was presented with a feather for chivalry by | |||
Her Highness Amira Celdae. She had held the door open for people coming and going at the performance of the Daffodil Consort, making sure that the door remained | |||
closed in between. | |||
