Mistress Tamar is one of the mainstays of the shire of Mountain Edge. When Mountain Edge needs a volunteer to run an event, write a song, etc., everyone thinks of Tamar.
Dragon's Mist once held a contest for a "Shire song" which was won by Mistress Tamar with great wit and humor (and a very droll song). I wish I had the words and music to post in this space. It would say much of her wonderful talent for "deadpan" humor.
As it says in Mountain Edge's entry in the Domesday Boke:
"Tamar the Serene, a woman of no particular persona, loves to attend events, sing, sew garb. She embroiders, grows herbs, and autocrats. Tamar holds varied offices and even enjoys attending meetings."
