| + | I wanted to take a few lines (few being relative to the work of all those who made it happen) of your email to thank many wonderful people who made this years Banner War such a Great Success. | ||

| + | When I first took on this event I said to the multitude of Baronial Officers in Aquaterra, as well as all members of the local populace, "If you have ever wanted to try an idea for a contest, this would be the time. Come see me and we'll talk about your contest and make it work for this event. I want to be sure that while the heavy fighters go off to war those still in camp from child to gentle artist are not bored." And this group stepped right up, HL Gabrielle deMerricourt and her "Thrown Siege Cooking Weapons" was apparently a great game for all who played. And as was mentioned by Aine, [[Vrederic Utgar die Wilde|Utgar]] took and Rapier went left of it's norm creating a good time for those folks too. | ||

AWESOME! Darts by torchlight I understand it was our Good Baron Andreu who was kind enough to lend his tall torches for the players to see by and [[Halldórr Jólgeirsson|Halldórr]] (Sp?) organized a great time there too. | ||

Greetings all,
I wanted to take a few lines (few being relative to the work of all those who made it happen) of your email to thank many wonderful people who made this years Banner War such a Great Success.
