One of the earliest active participants in medieval recreation, Sir Valtorr of Oslo started out as a member of the Markland Medieval Mercenaey Militia. In 1974, in Washington DC, Sir Valtorr joined and participated in MMMM for years until moving to Seattle, where he joined the SCA in 1979.

Sir Valtorr was a highly active member for more than twenty years until the death of his wife, the beautiful Julitta of Rosehaven.

Sir Valtorr has been a Constable, a Master of Stables, a Herald, and the Seneschal that transformed Aquaterra from a Shire to a Barony. Sir Valtorr has autocratted many Crown-level events (including several feasts).

Currently Sir Valtorr has taken up Ballroom Dancing and has become an accomplished dancer. He lives quietly in Renton and is enjoying his bachelorhood working as a technical writer for multinational software companies.

Sir Valtorr writes historical fiction and fantasy as well as non-fiction. He has been published several times, but is still working to get a novel published (he has written several).
