Unofficial DEIB advocacy

• 2022 Helped volunteers add pronouns to the An Tir Order of Precedence
• 2024 Petitioned the crown to schedule warm-up time before the Crown tournament starts
  • The Crown listened and now everyone gets a 20-minute warm-up after the procession to fight in Crown and right before the tournament starts
• 2024 Emailed the Dexter gauntlet about adding small pronunciation clips for everyone’s name to help heralds pronounce names correctly more often
  • This was suggested to me by an SCA member so I can advocate for the right people
• 2024 Assisted their Royal Highnesses to create guidelines for An Tir event stewards to create a DEIB steward position and helpful tips to make events more inclusive
• 2024 Assisted their Royal Highnesses by creating identification pins or favors to show people that it is safe for anyone to talk to them
• 2025 Assisted facilitators with their presentations for the Known World DEIB symposium
• 2025 Assisted in lowering barriers for Kingdom level offices and champions
• 2025 Helped to remove a type of calligraphic font as it is not culturally appropriate
