Greetings, I am Carith de Cuevas from the Rivers Region of An Tir. I am protégé to Countess Ana de la Sara of An Tir. I teach dance, am a scribe, I make and teach games, and do embroidery. I am happy to teach dance and/or games, help with hydration stations, or serve as volunteer coordinator at events throughout the Kingdom (although I cannot always afford travel). Cavite to prior offer: modernly my work makes it difficult for me to serve between the end of January and mid-April.

Persona History
Carith was born in 1412 in Seville, in Andalucia, the converso daughter of Soloman, a Spanish Sephardic physician, and Pascuala de Cuevas, who would become a courtier of an Andalucian Court.
In 1392, Soloman was out of the country studying medicine when his family was massacred, upon his return to Spain after many years of grief, he decided to protect his future by being the last practicing Jew in his family line. By 1408 at 40 years of age, he carefully courted a young Catholic named Pascuala, a woman 20 years younger than him and the daughter of a Spanish merchant named Juan de Cuevas. Despite the differences in faith, their marriage was blessed because Soloman was a physician at court and he was able to raise his wife's status to be a courtier.
This meant that Carith grew up between her converso home life, where she learned some Jewish customs from her father while being raised Catholic by her mother. They also spent time in and out of court society as her father was called upon to care for members at court and her mother, who was educated, became a courtier.
In her youth, Carith had several tutors and was educated to be a courtier herself. She learned more than just reading and writing, she was also educated in the arts of painting illuminations, dance, games, and embroidery. She showed a strong lifetime love of learning, but struggled to master things as she found herself always drawn to learn new things.
In 1432 Carith's parents arranged a marriage with an Englishman named Jonathan and the following year they bore a son they named Juan. Jonathan was in poor health and despite Soloman's efforts, Jonathan passed away, leaving Carith to raise Juan alone. As of Juan's 18th birthday, she still had not remarried.
