Site tokens, also called event tokens, are items given out when signing into gate. They are required at an event where they are needed to show that gate fee has been paid. Sites that require tokens will have attendees present them upon reentry to be able to enter back into the event, commonly used for public demos on closed sites.
Sites where these are not required will sometimes use the term event favours instead to differentiate that they are not required for reentry into the event. Some sites will have additional tokens to indicate that someone is participating in a feast or other activities.
Site tokens can be a large variety of things, some of which include:
- Beads
- Pins
- Cast pewter tokens
- Stamped leather
- Stamped coins
- Laser cut wood
- Cup covers
