Maeve Cunningham

I am Maeve Cunningham, many know me as Pumpkin. I reside in the Barony of Adiantum. I started in the SCA in 2002 when a friend from college invited me to a summer event Gypsy Days & Sea Dog Nights. I was hooked from the first day. I met friends I am still in touch with to this day. For the first couple of years I was on the fringe - just going to dress up, watch the fighting, and enjoy the night life. As I made friends and got settled in more my interests grew. I found I wanted to be more involved and help out.

I started volunteering. I have helped at events with parking, gate, water bearing, town cry, lists, field herald, youth activities, kitchen helper, lands coordinator, etc. I have been an Event Steward, Principality Officer, fundraising coordinator, largesse coordinator, and Kingdom Background Check Deputy.

I have been called a "service junkie". Service is my passion, I like helping out, and acts of service is one of my love languages.
