Lyulf de Flandry
Lord Lyulf has been a long-time officer of the MacFlandry Guard of An Tir, aka "the Guard", and is currently acting as moderator of the "Guardposts" mailing list on Yahoo.com See Yahoo instructions to join Guardposts. This is a Moderated list.
Under an earlier SCA name, Lyulf served as one of the very early Seneschals of the Shire of Dragon's Mist. I asked him about that, and he replied:

The earlier SCA name that I used while senechal was Lyulf DeForgeron, which changed briefly to McPherson... My Noob name was Warg Anvilsmitter, which lasted about three minutes ;-) . If I tried that one now, it would be done correctly, as Vargr Whatevertheheckthenorsecallablacksmith. Wouldn't use it though, as "Vargr" is a word for someone who's been outlawed.

So if you are rummaging through the oldest files in the Shire Seneschal's Box, and come across "Warg Anvilsmiter" or "Lyulf DeForgeron", he's still around!
