Frederick of the West Tower served solo off and on as founding Baron of Three Mountains from the branch's founding December 31 AS IV/1969 1 until his first step-down in July AS XII/1977 2. Frederick was said to have served Three Mountains again as its 3rd Baron as an 'emergency measure' from the Board when Dietrich and Amelung stepped down suddenly circa 31 December AS XIV/1979 through 16 January AS XVI/1982. His companion during his second tenure was said to be Daisy, the Stuffed Sheep. 3
