  1. A piece of regalia indicating that the wearer is a prince or princess; duke or duchess; viscount or viscountess; or baron or baroness - that is, a circlet that denotes rank. Smaller than a crown, bigger than a circlet; generally has points, crenelations, strawberry leaves, or pearls.
  2. When used in regard to a Principality, a collective term referring to the the Prince and Princess jointly. Frequently used.
  • When used in regards a Principality event it indicates an event where either a tournament will choose a successor (Coronet Tourney) or invest the new Prince and Princess (Investiture)
  1. When used in regard to a Barony, a collective term referring to the Landed Baron and Baroness jointly. Less frequently used, often only in writing.
