Barony of Aquaterra's Sergeantry Trials
September 17-19, 2004
Stanwood-Camano Fairgrounds
Come enjoy this leisurely late summer event supporting Aquaterra's Candidates as they undertake the 14+ hour, infamously grueling Aquaterra's Sergeantry Trials test! Come witness the testing of those brave souls seeking to enter the ranks of the Sergeantry of Aquaterra as Sergeant, Yeomen, Gallant, Courtier or Lancer. Testing for these ranks is held only once a year. Successful applicants must pass in the areas of heraldry, geography, sciences, gaming, dance, chivalry, courtesy, skill at arms, and many, many more.

The general populace is encouraged to attend, especially Saturday so they can encourage and cheer on the Candidates as they demonstrate the knowledge they have painstakingly studied over the last nine months of baronial tutelage. This is the perfect, quiet event to attend (for everyone but the Candidates) right before the Drums of War sound in the air announcing the approaching of Aquaterra's Banner War.

Opening Court: Sat. 8:30 AM-Candidates, don't be late! Remember, testing often runs until the wee hours on Sunday, so make sure to get a full night's rest.

Feast: While we savor a Northern Italian 1400's Feast prepared by our own Alessandra and her crew Saturday evening, al fresco, we shall watch the labors of the Candidates while they entertain us with their Bardic Presentations, and squirm in the hot seat of the Court of Love Questions. Then work off the feast by joining them by Dancing the night away....

Don't know how to dance? Don't worry, the Candidates will be teaching (part of their testing).
Menu includes: Grilled Chicken, Soup and Salad; if you have food allergy concerns, please contact the Autocrat. Please reserve your place for the Feast early, we wish to have an advanced idea of the attendance, so please get your reservations in to the Baroness Arianne by August 1st.

Payment needs to be received by the Baroness by September Crown (9/3/04).
Site opens: 3:00 pm Friday, and close 5:00 pm Sunday.
Please pack out your trash.
