May Crown - the crown event where snow burned.
May Crown was held in Walla Walla and Friday night cottonwood fluff that had dropping from the trees caught fire and quickly spread throughout the camp. No one was injured by the fire, but one participant was taken to the emergency room with wounds from fighting the fire.
May Crown was the 10th anniversary of the Tourney of Union, and the creation of the Prinicpality of An Tir. Wastekeep hosted a party then included a large cake, made from both white and yellow cake, baked into a Checky pattern and frosted with the arms of AnTir
Torgul Steingrimsson won the tournament but Countess Angharad revealed subsequently that Torgul's crown princess had been a member for less than one year, making them ineligible to rule.

July Crownation
Although normally a coronation event, the failed May Crown led to a compressed tourney and coronation north of Madrone. Manfred Kriegstreiber won the crown for Morwyn of Wye.
The Shire of Blatha an Oir was elevated to Barony status at Coronation. Micheil MacGhillebrath of Dunmaglas and Rowan O'Ceallachain of Muscraidhe were created Baron and Baroness by Their Majesties Ulfred and Adara.
