AN TIR CORONATION, McKIVER STATE PARK, THREE MOUNTAINS, JULY 12-13, AS XV

McKiver State Park is an hour southeast of Portland on the Clackamas River. To reach it from the south, from I-5 take the Oregon City exit to Highway 205. From there take the exit to Highway 212 East, and follow the road signs to McKiver State Park.

From the North one can either go forty miles out of one's way and take the same route as coming from the south (the more direct route, according to the autocrats) or go from Highway N I-5 take the exit to Highway 80, From Hwy 80 take the exit marked 82nd Ave. Go South six miles on 82nd, which will then turn into Hwy 205. From Hwy 205 take exit to 212 East, and follow road signs to McKiver State Park.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Saturday: Coronation, noon. Lists for Championship Tournament open at 1: 30 PM. Tournament follows. Decorated armor covering contest. Sunday: Continued championship tourney if necessary.

CONTESTS: The Three Mountains Costumers Guild is sponsoring a Decorated Armour Covering Contest. Entries can be anything that would have been used to cover armour, but must match the period of the armour being worn. The first prize is an inlaid belt buckle made by Stormcrow.
