• Aveloc the Younger's modern name is Harvey Palmer

• According to the Board Minutes of Oct 2002, his R&D was issued at the January 2002 Board meeting.

• The minutes for the January 2002 Board meeting are not available on-line as of this writing.

• Possibly the only R&D ever instigated and carried out solely at the Corporate level. The Crown and Kingdom of An Tir did not officially ever call for an R&D.

• This issue remains one of serious contention, with many people within An Tir believing the R&D was driven by personal interests. Many reasons have been given by the Corporation regarding this R&D. There was a list of 14 Charges given by the Corporation.

• After exhausting all avenues within the Corporation, a mundane lawsuit was eventually filed that attempted to force the Society to repeal the R&D. The case was dropped, and although the SCA paid Aveloc's legal fees as well as additional compensation, neither party admitted fault.

• There is still some hope by the people who care for Aveloc that the BoD will re-visit the R&D and consider re-instatement.

• King Thorin VI, on request from Dexter Gauntlet, affirmed that Aveloc's awards and titles are still honored and maintain their place in the An Tir Order of Precedence.
