Neva von Brandenburg
Introduction
The moment Neva joined The SCA in 2022, she quickly became an active member of the Summits and Terra Pomaria Community where at her first ever event at Antir West War she was welcomed into the retinue of their highnesses Bato and Emma von Bern. This event would become the cornerstone of her place in the SCA, she spent this week as an active member of the retinue. She found the most enjoyment in accompanying their Highnesses during roving court as they walked from campsite to campsite asking if people wished to swear fealty or service.
Since joining the society, Neva has also worked to foster the game and develop her skill in the arts through sewing her own garb and assisting in the illumination of charters and scrolls for awards. The main source of knowledge on these topics came from HL Adrianne von Brandenburg as she was the one to teach her how to sew and alter garb in addition to teaching her the ways of illumination through gauche.
Neva has volunteered as help at multiple events, served on three principality retinues, provided support at any point she noticed, and participated in multiple scribal teams. As a family, her mother and father Adrianne and Lucas as well as her brother, Drvecc, have provided service and supported the ideals of the game every day since returning in the year of 2022.
Terra Pomaria is her home, and she wouldn’t be the person she is without the support of this Barony. Most of her chosen family, House Aequa Domas, reside within the boundaries that she will always call home. Neva has always had a passion for learning new skills and with the support of many members of the society she has gained a passion for illumination and calligraphy, leading her to offer her support when she notices it would be of use.
