Isabella Blackthorne

Isabella Blackthorne was taken to her first event in AS XVIII/1983 when she was about six months old by her parents the founding Baron and Baroness of Terra Pomaria, Cesare and Astrid. She grew up at her parents’ side serving the Barony for the first twenty years of her life. She was first known as Bethany of Flanders.

Being born into the SCA Isabella was raised with all of the society as her family and grew up with their culture of studying and recreating the Middle Ages. Throughout her early years Isabella tried her hand at most aspects of the SCA from the scribal arts and heraldry to service on and off the field.

Isabella now lives in the Barony of Three Mountains. Having taken a few years off she has returned to the SCA and is looking forward to meeting people in a new Barony and learning new skills while hoping to find the sense of family that she had in her old Barony.
