- Mission Statement
The fundamental goals are: To present opportunities of organized, FUN activities and socializing at events which enables the participants to pursue their own dreams, developing their interests and to learn the many facets and skills of medieval life.
- About the An Tir College of Pages
The An Tir College of Pages is a program for young gentles (12-17 years old) who participate in the Society of Creative Anachronism to encourage socialization and a deeper understanding of the history and culture of the Middle Ages as represented in the SCA.
Membership is not required by the SCA nor is it a pre-requisite to enjoying the activities organized by the College of Heralds at events. Membership is required however to fullfill challenges for rankings and to chronicle other awards and achievements within the College.
Young gentles already serving as Pages may, at their Master or Mistresses discretion, register with the College of Pages if they wish to attain rankings within it.
- Ranking Structure
- (snipped from the College's Website)
- Apprentice Page. In this rank, the young gentle will learn the basic fundamentals of medieval life, skills and essentials of the SCA history, protocols and behavior. When their Apprentice Challenges are met, they are awarded the Vert (green) Tassel as a symbol of their growth.
- Journeyman Page. In this rank the Challenges build upon the fundamentals and expand the skills, knowledge of medieval life and the information and customs of the SCA. When their Challenges proficiencies are met, they are awarded the Gules (red) Tassel as a tribute to the forging of their knowledge.
- Page. In this rank, the Challenges reflect the abilities, skills, leadership and knowledge of the participants. When the Page is successful in meeting their Challenges they should be able to function within the SCA in any capacity they choose. The Award given is the Argent (silver) Tassel, to distinguish the sum of their achievements.
- Alumni Page is the last level in the College of Pages. One year after their graduation, the graduate Page may receive the Or (gold) Tassel to celebrate their contributions to the Society and the sharing of the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the participation of the College of Pages.

Greetings
The (Tir Righ?) College of Pages admitted their first candidate. Allyson from Lionsdale completed her Initiation Quest.
She is sponsored by Richarde Touchet and Genvieve de Clairvaux. Her quest included gathering a letter of permission from her mother, a letter of Sponsorship from her sponsors, and a Testimonial of Service and one of Learning. She has made her Page's Favour and it was formally presented to her at court.
I hear she is already hard at work on her Apprentice Page Challenges.
Other potential Pages spoke to me at the Event and are Questing for their paperwork to enter the College at the next Baronial Event.
The Page's Handbook is now available online at the Antir website
under the Ministry of Children's label (Here).
