Owain ap Einar

Owain started fighting in Abu's back yard, he and his best friend Bear went to check it out: he was having so much fun being pulverized his first time out that when it got dark he talked everyone into fighting out in the middle of the road under the street lights. (Car! clear the road... Ok play on...)

He was squired to Oak, the squiring took place at a Baroness's birthday tourney about a year after he joined the SCA. He is proud to have such mighty roots.

He makes beautiful and mighty things, from Jarl Hwolf's and Sir Thorvald's swords to Sir Savaric's spurs, to fine belt buckles and jewelery. (He has been awarded a Jambe.)

He took being Amanda's sergeant to heart. He had tears in his eyes when it came to giving her belt back when he was being knighted. He was honoured to be her sergeant.

He was the fourth "champion" of the north- the future Principality. (I was his inspiration, even then :)

Owain was both chosen as and earned the right to be champion of Tir Righ.

Owain became the 10th Prince of Tir Righ in November 2007, after finalling in 4 coronets.

He has had 2 Squires: Saif al Sirhan (p: Zyeef)- knighted Sept 2007 and Altan Gyasto.

His parents Sandra and Bill have supported him and have had fun hosting all his friends over the years, getting to know everyone and even coming to the occasional event.

Owain can be a mouthy prick, but you always know where you stand with him, (and as a note- never stand beside him at a urinal- dude could write his first and last name...)
