Elena de Maisnilwarin

Resident of the Barony of Lions Gate (Vancouver Canada), in the Principality of Tir Righ. First event was at the armouries in New Westminster, first Ithra was in Shittimwoode a few weeks later, and first major event was May Crown hosted by Lions Gate.

Best SCA Memories (so far)

• Baroness' War. Sitting at gate with a small crowd, listening to stories from Baroness Amanda
• Awesome road trip with (then) Baroness Amanda Kendal of Westmoreland and Her Ladyship Isobel fitz Gilber to California for the West Kingdom's Collegium Occidentalis trip.
• First Ithra session at False Isle; was one of only two non-instructors to come from Lions Gate for the event. Sitting up late where we were crashing and listening to the stories from Baron Gerhard and Baroness Amanda. Wow.
• Clinton War. Can't remember the year. Watching some gorgeous men wrestle by firelight. Later listening to some of them sing.
• Clinton War. Same year. Playing Mah Jong with Mistres Cushag and others - toasting marshmallows over the tealights.

SCA Travel

So far, have only attended three events outside of the Kingdom of An Tir. I would like to get to more.

• Collegium Occidentalis, Kingdom of the West. Fabulous road trip with (then) Baroness Amanda Kendal of Westmoreland and Her Ladyship Isobel fitz Gilbert. Was in the late '90s or early 2000s.
