Lord Dougal MacLaomuinn, AoA, LC

Found out about the SCA in April of 1994, when he was invited to a dance practice by his brother, Connal MacLaomuinn, in Seagirt.

Clinton 1994 was his first event, where he was equipped with a ground mushroom (modern tent) a T-tunic, sandals, a couple pairs of shorts, and a handfull of cash.

Returning from Clinton with a love of the SCA in his heart, Dougal knew that he wanted to join this bunch of wackoes :-)

Anyways, skip forward a couple years, and Dougal helped his brother Connal to found the Crimson Star, a household based in Lionsdale. Connal was the 'Ship's Master', and Dougal was the 'Pilot'.

Dougal got his Award of Arms on Sept 4 AS 34 / 1999 , and his Lion's Claw (Lions Gate) on Feb 24 AS 35 / 2001 (which was also the day after his son's birthday, a very busy weekend)

Dougal is married to Brianna MacLaomuinn, and has a daughter (Brianna) and a son (Aiden).

Dougal currently resides in the Shire of Lionsdale, Principality of Tir Righ (Chilliwack, British Coumbia).
