Lady Shannon ni Connell, (AoA, Order of the Dolphin (Caid)), currently a resident of the Barony of Vulcanfeldt, past resident of the Kingdom of Caid, Baronies of Angels and Calafia.
Device is Sable, a chevron argent between three cat's paw prints Or.
She is currently protégée to Dame Selene Colfox, Order of the Pelican, of Caid, and Foster protégée to Master Tvorimir Danilov of An Tir.
Lady Shannon's first event was back in 1980 (Calafia Anniversary) at the age of 14, when the mom of a classmate threw a t-tunic at her and said "put that on, you're going to a tourney". Since then, she's been periodically active, with a break from 1991-1994. She became a Chirurgeon in 1996, and served in that role until the the office was disbanded. In 2007 she moved to An Tir, with real life interfering with active participation in her new kingdom until 2019. During pandemic she took part in on-line events and helped to moderate several of those events. She became more active and involved in 2023, and continues to explore new activities and arts when presented.
She served as a field herald for May Crown and September Crown in 2024, and a processional herald for Tir Righ Coronet in fall of 2025.
In fall of 2024, she started practicing rapier, and attended Rose and Thorn 2024. In January of 2025, she authorized as a rapier fighter, fighting her first tourney at the Barony of Aquaterra's Ursulmas.
After having been exposed to fiber arts in Iceland, Shannon has been practicing tablet weaving and spinning. She covets having a warp-weighted loom of her very own.
