Dexter Gauntlet Herald

Dexter Gauntlet Herald is a senior member of the Black Lion heraldic staff, who is responsible for the maintenance and updating of the An Tir Order of Precedence, the list of all awards given by every branch of the Society to every An Tirian.

History of the Dexter Gauntlet Title From a posting in 2022 by Sir Morgan of Aberystwyth: “I fought in the Coronet Tournament held in the new Shire of Lions Gate where Theodulf of Borogrove won and became Prince with his Lady Anna becoming Princess. Theodulf was Knighted at the same time. Their seals and Signatures are on my AoA, a treasured artifact from those early times. He was a talented musician and played the crumhorn. He and his Lady served as Baron and Baroness of Madrona. When I was Black Lion Herald of the early Principality of An Tir he helped me quite a bit and during one meeting I called him my right-hand man so later I made him the first official Dexter Gauntlet Pursuivant of the An Tir Collage of Arms. That is where that title comes from and it is still in use today, many years later.”
