Court Report
12th Night in review (long)
Part One: First Court
The following is from my court business scribles, so please pardon that I don't have the complete spelling of all the names.
In the First Court of Their Royal Majesties, Wilam and Siobhan, King and Queen of An Tir:
Their Majesties children were granted the titles of Prince and Princess Royal for the duration of Their reign.
His Excellency, Aveloc refused the title of Duke and was granted a second County. (We don't know why. He said his reasons are private.)
Her Excellency, Mahliqa was granted a County.
Their Excellencies, Ambrose and Marion, former Baron and Baroness of Adiantum, were given Court Baronies.
His Grace, Duke Davin Davin was able to finish up some business from his last reign by creating Rowenna de Manning a Lion of An Tir.
The first peerage ceremony of the new reign was the Knighting of Terrick de Rijkaard. The buffet looked painful.
Lady Achaxe, who stepped down as Royal Chamberlain this weekend, was given some long overdue recognition and was made a member of both the Order of the Goutte de Sang and the Order of the Jambe de Lion. Their Majesty's ladies in waiting and various other individuals celebrated the awarding of our sister with much, um, noise and cheer, in the form of monkey calls.
Kent Redleaf, representing the merchants of An Tir, presented Their Majesties with an amazing array of gifts in an *enormous* wooden box. Very cool.
A new Vox Leonis was installed. Margaree stepping down after four years of service.
Ante Ruadh was given an Award of Arms.
The Ladies of the Rose and the Valorous Estate recognized His Lordship, Sgt Aleyn the Younger for his exemplary courtesy, chivalry and honor by presenting him with the Honour of the Belated Rose. It's token is a beautiful needlepointed piece, crafted, if I'm not mistaken, by Her Excellency, Baroness Amanda Kendal.
Ban-Iarla Daedin was recognized with an Augmentation of Arms. She gave a lovely quick speech when accepting. Nice bit of court.
Lady Alina Folkstone was granted a Court Barony for her exemplary service to Their Majesties.
Emma inn Draumspaka and John Kane were both admitted to the Order of the Goutte de Sang.
Ulrik and Meagan, Baron and Baroness of Wastekeep, presented Their Majesties with gifts.
Sir Torfin Torgulsson was admitted to the Order of the Laurel, presumably for his amazing metalwork - armor and jewelry.
Sir Daegar Fairhair and Taletha Windrider were recognized by the Crown with Court Baronies.
The Barony of Blatha an Oir presented Their Majesties with gifts of largess (and the baskets just keep coming and coming....). They were also given one or two wooden boxes as personal gifts.
In service, (A very tired) Khalja, Principal Lady in Waiting for TRM Wilam and Siobhan
