Introduction:

My name is Sigridr Viljhalmsdottir.
I reside in the Barony of Dragons Laire in the Kingdom of An Tir.
I was from 10/2021 to 10/8/2022 A and S Champion for the Barony of Dragons Laire I have helped with Retinue for Baron Arion the Wanderer, OL, OP.
My persona is 950s Icelandic. I am married to a trader, and I grow and produce flax in Borg which in Borgarfjorour.

I began my SCA journey in 2006 as part of Clan Dragondrauten where I helped run a large SCA household of over 30 members. After several years, the household divided in 2017.

I became more active with the Glamfolk as a member of Master Sven RedBeard Einarsson’s Household. I wanted to learn more about history and become more involved in research and historical authenticity for my persona. I also wanted to have a more active role in the SCA. I have been volunteering at events doing gate duties, serving at feasts, helping wherever it is needed.

Other Projects

I have been creating Male and female Viking age apparel for several years.
Much of my work is 100 percent hand sewn. I use handmade woolen cloth and linen from Europe.

I also have been embroidering for over 20 years, tablet weave and am currently working on flax production from seed to cloth.
This last project has been in process for 6 years and I am now at the spinning stage of my project.
