Lord Bowdyn Ivarsson (once known as Bowdyn the peasant) currently lives in the Shire of Lionsdale.

Born in the later half of the 8th centry, the son of a Thrall captured on a raid of a Saxon village, he was raised in the House of Ivar the Terrible. As he grew he excelled with service and help to various masters of the arts and thus earned his freedom from Ivar while he lay upon his death bed. And, as a tribute to Ivar with his permission, he took his name: thus becoming Bowdyn Ivarsson.

After only being in the society for just a little over 10 months, in AS 40, Bowdyn recieved his Award of Arms from His Excellency Ieuan Gower and Her Excellency Gwyneth Gower during their reign as Prince and Princess of Tir Righ.

In AS 41, his long friendship with Sir Thane "Oak" Guntharson grew with him swearing fealty, and becoming his Man-at-Arms. It was a proud and wonderful day for Bodwyn.

He has also received many an honour, as Lionsdale's Thrown Weapons Champion from 2005-2006. As well as a service bead from Her Excellency Thora Golvik of Al in Hallingdal at the first Odin's Playground.
