Aelianora de Wyntringham (or alternately, Wintringham) is a companion of the Orders of the Jambe de Lion and the Goutte de Sang currently residing in Dragon's Laire.
Persona
Aelianora was born to a wealthy gentleman farmer in the early-mid 1500s. Her family owns estates around Wintringham [1] in the East (now North) Riding of Yorkshire, England, east of the provincial capital of York. She was married at a young age to her family's patron's youngest son, a merchant many years older than her. She outlived him, and married again, to a wealthy merchant from Newcastle-upon-Tyne[2], Northumberland. She currently lives in a large house on Sandhill near the Quayside in Newcastle. Unfortunately her second husband passed away during a journey to Italy for the Queen and she remains a wealthy widow, possessor of the house in Newcastle, farms in Northumberland and Yorkshire and a small house in York.
Alternate Personae: Aelianora sometimes appears, especially around cheese, milk, milk animals and other foods in preparation, as her own dairy maid, Cicely.
When it's very hot, she regresses to an ancient ancestress, Quinta Petillia Aelianora, from 2nd Century Roman Britain.
