Edouard is retired from 'Civil Service', after having held a number of local and Principality (Summits) offices. He has taken the opportunity to explore the arts and sciences, with particular interest in the late 14th and early 15th centuries. An experienced and skilled cook, he has been head cook for a number of feasts, and has been experimenting further with period recipes in camp. He has also been doing research and experimentation in calligraphy (particularly cutting goose quills), making turnshoes, and in arms and armor. He is a new member of the Hospitallers, and prefers to fight with polearms.
